For those of you who haven’t had enough of the evolution in the original Spore and more than 65 million player-creations, Maxis and Electronics Arts have announced four new titles under the Spore franchise – Spore Galactic Adventures, Spore Creature Keeper, Spore Hero and Spore Hero Arena. Each of these titles promises to introduce unique gameplay for all creature creators, space hunters and action adventurers.
“Last year was a very exciting year for Maxis with the release of Spore. We were overwhelmed by the massive response to the game from the millions of people that created, shared and played in the Spore universe,” said General Manager of Maxis, Lucy Bradshaw. “This year we’re going to experiment with new experiences that extend the powerful creativity tools of Spore to all-new audiences. With the universe as our backdrop, the only limit in the Spore universe is your own imagination.”

The Spore Galactic Adventures is coming this spring for PC. Spore Galactic Adventures adds the infinite universe to the original game and lets players “beam down” on planetshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet and strategize mission based adventures. The “adventure creator” in the Spore Galactic Adventures lets gamers create their own mission and share them with others on the game’s official site.
Spore Creature Keeper is a standalone PC gamehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_computer_game that lets players give their personally-created creatures a personalized nurturing, training and playing. There are toys, clotheshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clothing and gizmoshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gizmo , players can shower their pet creatures with and pamper them! Players can also have a play-date online for more “creature fun”.
Debuting on Wii is Spore Hero, the first Spore to go on the Nintendo console. This title of Spore takes players to adventure world which is “beautiful” and “colorful”. Likewise, there is the Spore Hero Arena for Nintendo DS. It features fully-3D Spore creatures adding another dimension to the play! Both these titles which are meant exclusively for the Nintendo consoles will debut this fall.
